Shady Brook offers shotgun White Tail Deer Hunts from the first week in December through January 10th.

Your hunt includes cabin stay at our White Tail Retreat Cabin.

Maximum 3 hunters per five day seasons.  Non-hunting guest are welcome.

  Hunts start at $1,500.00 per person and may increase, depending on your request. 

We do not charge extra for larger class size bucks.

HUNTING AREA INFO:  The property consists of old growth, hardwood trees, surrounded by cropland, hay fields and grass bedding areas.  With year-round running Bear Creek.  The main hunting areas consist of travel corridors and funnel areas.

Setup for ground blinds, tree stands, or your own set-up tailored for your needs with many 1-2 person stands already in place. 

Observational non-hunters are welcome for additional fees during the hunts. 

White Tail Retreat Cabin has all amenities and sleeps 5-6.  We look forward to your reservation and a reminder Iowa usually requires one preference point for out of state hunters.
