Shady Brook Camping and RV Adventures offers many opportunities for fun! We offer special events; from banquets, anniversaries, birthdays, group camp outings, corporate retreats, and hunting.

We offer the FIRST ascending Tree Tent in Iowa; a very new and unique option for sleeping in the trees!

We also offer campsites, cabins, and tent sites for your enjoyment! Bring your own rig or tents to setup.

 

Come enjoy the beautiful Iowa landscape and year-round running Bear Creek. 

 

We are here to make your special occasion complete and memorable--where abundant wildlife roam and picturesque views prevail.

Animals are welcome, they must be kept on a leash, not left unattended, please pick up waste and kindly dispose of it in the dumpster by the driveway. The animals shots must be current. Animals are NOT allowed in any of our buildings, rentals or the restrooms. If you do not follow these rules, you will be asked to leave. Without a refund.

All our campsites can accommodate 45 Foot Camper/Trailer/RV, except

site #'s 6, 13, 15, 24, & 26.

We only allow (Iowa Department of Agriculture Local Approved Wood) to be brought in to the campground.  Firewood can transport many invasive insect pests.  The Iowa Motto is: Buy Local & Burn Local!

Hunting is NOT allowed during the open campground season.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel 7 days or less prior to your scheduled arrival date, there will be No Refund. If you cancel 8 days or more before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a refund minus taxes and fees. Fees are $20.00 for reservations under $200.00, and $50.00 for reservations $200.00 and above. This is per each reservation. So, if you have 2 reservations, there will be 2 fees charged. However, we will gladly reschedule your reservation for you to a different date.
